The final was 5-4 Expos despite Larry Parrish making 5 errors ...Reds take lead late
only to lose on walks and a error...Montreal scored 2 in the bottom of the 9th for the walk off win on an error by 3B Tony Perez. The 'Spos only had 3 hits all day, but they made them count with Rock Raines going 2-4 with 3 RBI's on a long ball.
