was magical for 8 2/3
innings, but loaded the bases in the top of the 9th. Steve Mingori came on to get PH Alphonso
Soriano to line out and end the game. KC
had a balanced 12 hit attack with Seitzer and Patek both banging out 3 hits
each. Patek swiped 2 bags and was
constantly a threat to score.
