KC jumped out to a 3-0
lead in the first and never looked back.
Ace Dennis Leonard was throwing up blanks until Godzilla cranked a 3 run
shot in the 6th to make it 5-3.
KC added 3 more in the 9th to make it a laugher. Quiz and Monty both shined again for KC out
of the pen, whereas Phil Hughes and Betances did now. The Royals offense recorded 14 hits, with 6
players having 2 or more. No one was
bigger than Frank White (again ???), who knocked
in 3 with 2 hits and scored 2 runs. KC
now has the Bombers on the brink of elimination with their 3rd win
in 4 tries during this series.
