in bigger moments than the Boomer. With
their backs against the wall the Bombers needed a huge performance from David Wells and that’s
just what they got. Boomer gave up 4
hits in 8 frames and didn’t allow a single run.
Sandman threw a perfect 9th and the Bombers lived to fight
another day.
Royals lead series 3-2.
