A walk off 2 run shot
by the Say Hey kid off of Craig Kimbrel propelled the Bay Area Bombers to a 3-1
series lead. The game was a nip and tuck
/ back and forth struggle that looked to be in the bag until Atlanta’s closer
faltered. Giants reliever Gary Lavelle got the win, even though
the run he gave up in the top of the 9th originally looked to be the
game winner. Atlanta out hit the Jints
15-6, but SF’s knocks carried more wallop !
Giants lead series 3-1
